Energy Terminal of Western Guyana

Today, the Saint Laurent du Maroni region in French Guiana is supplied with fuels, combustibles and LPG by road from the SARA depots of REMIRE MONTJOLY and KOUROU.

The expected increase in the population of the West Guyanese region will automatically lead to an increase in heavy tonnage road traffic between Cayenne and Saint Laurent du Maroni.

The purpose of this development is, in particular, to transport hydrocarbons to West Guyana in order to meet the needs of this region and reduce trucking from the Kourou depot on the RN1 road.

The targeted hydrocarbons are diesel (diesel), gasoline, FOD and light naphtha.
